Operations1 role

Operations Associate

Northwest Arkansas (HQ)·Reports to Implementation Leader

LyraConnect is an AI-native marketing decision platform, purpose built for CPG brands and the retail ecosystem. Our platform runs proprietary demand simulations, targeted and proprietary prompts executed daily across the major AI platforms and AI Assistants, with iterations spanning the occasions and need states that shape a category to reveal how AI responds to shopper need states, which products it recommends, and where a brand is absent from the consideration set. This AI response data, refreshed daily and 100% first-party, flows directly into qualified audiences, validated messaging, and media activation, connecting upstream demand formation to downstream retail conversion earlier than any other channel.

LyraConnect is seeking an Operations Associate to support the execution engine behind our client engagements during a pivotal growth phase. This is a foundational operational role, working closely with leadership across Sales, Strategy, and Engineering to keep client implementations, internal processes, and cross-functional handoffs running smoothly as the company scales. You'll report to the Implementation Leader and partner daily with teammates across the business to turn strategy into execution.

This role is ideal for a builder; someone with sharp attention to detail, energized by ambiguity in a start-up / growth-phase environment, and proactive about spotting gaps and closing them rather than waiting to be asked.

What You'll Do

  • Support implementation execution. Coordinate the day-to-day mechanics of client platform and campaign implementation, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks as accounts move from contract to active delivery.
  • Operationalize cross-functional work. Partner with Sales, Strategy, and Engineering to translate client requirements and internal priorities into clear, trackable action, keeping projects moving and stakeholders aligned.
  • Own the details. Maintain accurate, organized documentation of client implementations, timelines, and deliverables, the reliable source of truth others depend on.
  • Identify and close gaps. Spot process breakdowns, inefficiencies, or missing steps early, and take initiative to fix them rather than escalating and waiting.
  • Build as you go. Help design and refine the operational processes and tools LyraConnect needs as it scales, since much of what this role will own doesn't exist yet in final form.
  • Champion our values. Lead in a way that reflects LyraConnect's values framework: Imagine, Integrity, Initiative, Collaborate, Communicate, Craft.

What You Bring

  • Experience in operations, project coordination, account management, or a related function.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity in a fast-changing, early-stage company where process is still being defined.
  • A collaborative, cross-functional mindset; comfortable working across Sales, Strategy, and Engineering.
  • A proactive, builder orientation: the instinct to notice what needs doing and start doing it.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a bias toward over-communicating status, blockers, and progress.

Engineering1 role

Software Engineer II, Platform & Data

Northwest Arkansas (HQ)·Reports to CTO

About the role

LyraConnect is an AI-native marketing decision platform, purpose built for CPG brands and the retail ecosystem. Our platform runs proprietary demand simulations, targeted and proprietary prompts executed daily across the major AI platforms and AI Assistants, with iterations spanning the occasions and need states that shape a category to reveal how AI responds to shopper need states, which products it recommends, and where a brand is absent from the consideration set.

That means we run a lot of prompts against a lot of models and we do the work to turn messy generative output into defensible numbers. This role sits across both halves of that: the backend platform and the pipelines that feed it.

You'll own things end to end, ship to production regularly, and have meaningful input at every level of the stack.

What you'll work on

  • Building and maintaining the LyraConnect Platform
  • Collection pipelines that query multiple LLM providers at volume, handle rate limits and failures gracefully, and keep results reproducible
  • Parsing and normalizing unstructured model responses into structured brand, product, and sentiment records
  • Instrumentation and monitoring so we find out a collection job broke before a client does
  • Champion our values. Lead in a way that reflects LyraConnect's values framework: Imagine, Integrity, Initiative, Collaborate, Communicate, Craft.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of professional experience building web applications, or a CS degree or equivalent coursework, or substantial personal/open-source work you can walk us through
  • 2+ years with at least one of: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or a comparable language
  • Strong SQL and a solid understanding of relational database design
  • Comfortable on Unix-based systems — you can read logs, trace a process, and debug a server without a GUI
  • Strong Git fundamentals

Nice to have but not required

  • BS/BA in Computer Science or a related engineering field
  • Experience building or maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and workflow orchestration (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or similar)
  • Django or FastAPI service experience
  • Containerized deployments and functional knowledge of Kubernetes
  • Working knowledge of columnar/analytical databases and dbt-style transformation tooling
  • Experience working with LLM APIs — prompt structuring, output parsing, cost and latency management
  • Applied statistics background, or enough of one to be dangerous
  • Non-relational databases, caching layers, queueing systems

You will not have all of these. Apply anyway.

How we work

  • No micromanagement. We hire people we trust to do the right thing and then get out of the way.
  • Learn without permission. Try new approaches. Pick up the tool you need. Nobody has to sign off on you finding a better way to do something.
  • The details matter. Engineering compounds. Small mistakes in a data pipeline become wrong numbers in a client deck three weeks later.
  • Excellence and pragmatism, but not too much of either. Both taken to extremes are failure modes. Knowing when to polish and when to ship is the difference between teams that win and teams that lose.
  • Talk to clients. Not constantly, but you should be able to sit in front of a CPG analyst and explain how something works without a translator.

SVP Sales, CPG

Northwest Arkansas (HQ)·Reports to CRO

LyraConnect is seeking a Senior Vice President of Sales, CPG to lead and scale our enterprise sales function during a pivotal growth phase. This is a foundational commercial leadership role, deepening our footprint with flagship accounts, and accelerating growth across CPG brands and retailers. You'll report to the CRO and work in close partnership with the executive team to shape both the commercial strategy and the products that support it.

This role is ideal for a builder; someone who has sold into retailers and CPG brands, understands retail media economics and is energized by defining a category rather than following an established playbook.

What You'll Do

  • Lead flagship account strategy. Deepen relationships and expand scope within existing anchor accounts, identifying renewal, upsell, and multi-category expansion opportunities.
  • Drive new-logo acquisition. Build and convert pipeline with named enterprise CPG prospects, expanding LyraConnect's footprint across categories and diversifying beyond our current retailer concentration.
  • Represent the category. Serve as a credible, senior voice with CMOs, VPs of Shopper/Retail Media, Insights and AI COE leaders; articulating how demand simulation and AI response data change the way brands plan for AI-to-shelf visibility.
  • Shape commercial strategy. Partner with the executive team on pricing, packaging, account segmentation, and annual revenue targets; contribute directly to board- and investor-facing reporting on pipeline health and revenue diversification.
  • Partner cross-functionally. Work closely with Product & Marketing to ensure the roadmap reflects real client and market needs surfaced through the sales process, and with Marketing to sharpen positioning and category narrative.
  • Champion our values. Lead in a way that reflects LyraConnect's values framework: Imagine, Integrity, Initiative, Collaborate, Communicate, Craft.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with a track record of building and scaling enterprise accounts from an early or pre-scale stage.
  • Deep, direct experience selling to CPG brands.
  • Working knowledge of retail media network economics (Walmart Connect, Sam's Club, Amazon, or similar), including JBP dynamics and media activation models.
  • A demonstrated ability to sell complex, category-defining products.
  • Executive presence and credibility with C-suite and Senior-level buyers at Fortune 500 CPG companies and Retailers.
  • Experience operating in a high-growth, venture-backed startup environment; comfort with ambiguity and a fast-changing product.
  • A collaborative, builder mentality; willing to be hands-on in early deals while also building the function for scale.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus but not required.
